# Your Taostats account How to sign in to Taostats Pro, keep access to your account, pick a plan, cancel, delete your account and contact support. _Source: https://beta.taostats.io/docs/understanding-taostats/taostats-pro/your-taostats-account_ _Last reviewed: 2026-09-30_ A Taostats account gives you the Pro dashboard: portfolio, staking, transfers, tax, miner stats and API keys. Creating an account is free. You don't need one to browse the explorer, only for Pro features and API keys. ## Sign in Go to [taostats.io/pro/login](https://taostats.io/pro/login) and choose one of these methods: | Method | What you need | | --- | --- | | **Sign in with Bittensor** | A Bittensor wallet that can sign the login request. | | **Google** | A Google account. | | **GitHub** | A GitHub account. | | **Anonymous** | A 16-digit PIN that Taostats generates for you. No email or wallet is needed. | | **Email (magic link)** | An email address. Taostats emails you a one-time sign-in link, and each link works once. | Taostats doesn't use passwords. Your sign-in method, or the PIN, is the credential. ### Use the same method every time Each account belongs to the method you created it with. To see which one yours uses, open [Profile](https://taostats.io/pro/profile) and look at **Type**. The **Linked Accounts** row there shows whether Google or GitHub is connected. If you sign in with a different method, you may end up in a separate, empty account without your wallets, API keys or plan. Sign out and sign back in with your original method. To move to another method, or to merge two accounts, email support (see [Get help](#get-help)). ## Keep access to your account ### Your email address Your account email comes from your sign-in method. With Google or GitHub, it's the email on that provider account. With the magic link, it's the address you typed in. You can't edit it on the Profile page. To change it, email support from your current address. ### Your PIN Taostats shows an Anonymous PIN once, when it's generated. Copy it and keep it somewhere safe, such as a password manager. Right after generating the PIN, you're asked **What if you forget your pin?** and can save a recovery email. Add one. If you skip this step, Taostats can't link a lost PIN back to you. If you lose your PIN, email support from your recovery email. There's no self-service PIN reset. > [!WARNING] > **A lost PIN with no recovery email can't be recovered** > > Anyone who has your PIN can sign in to your account. If you lose it and didn't set a recovery email, you lose the account, along with its plan and API keys. ## Plans Every account starts on **Free**. The Billing page shows the current prices for each interval. **API credit top-ups** are one-off purchases: 250k credits for $99, or 1m credits for $199. Top-ups add credits but not speed; your plan's per-minute limit still applies. Every plan can view Pro portfolio data, use all three staking modes and generate tax reports. What changes between plans is how many wallets you can add, how far back history goes, and how much you can use the API. ## Billing Open [Billing](https://taostats.io/pro/billing) to see your current plan, your renewal date, remaining API credits and your payment method. You can also change the card there. - **Upgrade:** takes effect straight away. You're charged the price difference that day. - **Downgrade:** takes effect at the start of your next billing period. Until then you keep your current plan. - **Change billing interval:** a longer interval starts straight away and charges the difference. A shorter one starts at your next billing period. Where USDC or TAO payment is offered, you pay for each term in advance. Renewal only happens if you've turned it on. Change the plan or renewal for your next term under **Manage crypto subscription** on Billing. ### Cancel On Billing, choose **Cancel Subscription**, or choose **Free** in the plan list, and confirm. You keep your paid plan until the end of the period you've already paid for, and then the account moves to Free. Nothing further is charged. Until the period ends, you can undo the cancellation from the same page. If you pay with crypto, choose **Turn off renewal**. Any USDC left on your account balance stays there. You can use it for a later payment or withdraw it. ## Delete your account You can't delete your account from the dashboard yet. Email [support@taostats.io](mailto:support@taostats.io) from the address on the account, or from your PIN recovery email, and ask for it to be deleted. Before you ask: 1. Cancel any paid plan, so that it doesn't renew. 2. Export anything you need, such as tax reports and miner CSVs. 3. If you pay with crypto, withdraw any remaining USDC balance. Taostats deletes the personal data it holds for the account, as set out in the [privacy policy](https://taostats.io/terms). Your wallets, stake and on-chain history are on the Bittensor chain, so they're unaffected and still appear in the explorer. ## Get help - **Email:** [support@taostats.io](mailto:support@taostats.io). Include your **Account Id**, which you can copy from [Profile](https://taostats.io/pro/profile). For a payment problem, also include the payment reference shown on Billing. - **Discord:** [discord.taostats.io](https://discord.taostats.io) is best for general questions and staking issues.
